Established in 1971, Lovell’s Nursery has been a beloved part of the Hagerstown community for over 50 years. In May 2025, longtime owners Jack and Trinia Lovell retired and transitioned ownership. Today, Lovell’s Nursery is proudly owned by Nicole Luna, who is honored to continue the nursery’s legacy while revitalizing this beloved local garden center.

Garden Center

Our full-service garden center features a wide selection of healthy, high-quality plants and garden supplies to meet every need:

• Annuals and perennials

• Trees and ornamental shrubs

• Herbs, fruits, and vegetable plants

• Plants native to our region

• Houseplants and indoor greenery

• Soils, mulches, fertilizers, and plant care products

• Pots, Planters, Fountains, Statuary, Flags and Other Decorative Items

We also carry seasonal items throughout the year, including bulbs, pumpkins, gourds, and straw bales in the fall, followed by fresh Christmas trees, greens, and wreaths going into the winter. In November we open our pop-up Christmas shop, featuring a large selection of ornaments, tree skirts, and tree toppers along with a variety of unique gifts ideas tailored to plant and garden lovers. 

Our knowledgeable staff is always available to provide guidance on plant selection, care, and current gardening trends. Delivery and installation services are available for an additional fee.

Professional Landscaping Design & Installation

In addition to our garden center, Lovell’s Nursery specializes in professional landscape design and installation services for both residential and small- to mid-size commercial properties.

Our landscaping services include:

• Custom landscape design

• Landscape plantings

• Hardscapes, including patios, walkways, and small retaining walls

• Ponds and water feature installation

• Spring and Fall Clean-Ups
